I'm giving some strong consideration to getting a gray market Yanmar. Due to storage reasons, I would need a mid-mount belly mower rather than a back mount finish mower. Apparently in Japan this isn't too common because I haven't seen any in my search. Is it possible to mount a mid mount belly mower on a Yanmar or is it not a good idea?

I suppose any tractor has it's limitations and it appears that the Cubs' are ones I can live with. I have found a guy who is currently restoring a '52 and will include a new Woods deck and snow plow for about 4500.00. From all I've gathered, this is a very fair price considering the complete restoration, the deck AND shipping to my house. It eill be done in spring of '03 and I can't wait. One more winter of walk behind snow blowing!

OK, here's the breakdown of the Lakeview mix seed I have been using:

57% Perenial Rye
23% Annual Rye
12% Kentucky Blue
5% Creeping Red Fescue

of course there is the always interesting 2% "inert matter", whatever that is!

I readily admit this isn't rocket science but I'm looking for some direction as to how to roast the best darn sweet corn on a fire. (The wife wants to host the first annual "Corn Roast" later this summer and I want this stuff to be mouth watering.) Anyway, here is my plan right now...please advise me if you'd do anything different. Soak corn in H2O for :30. Peel down and take out silks, re-wrap. Put in alum. foil and cook on hot coals/fire for 20-30 min.

There has to be something else to it besides this. Anyone have any nifty ideas to make it just "unforgettable" corn?

Of course I'll be using the best sweet corn in the world...right here in Northwestern PA!
